Auburn Alabama

Our trip is taking a detour at this point.  We were supposed to go to the coast in Alabama next and head down to the Florida gulf coast afterwards, BUT Tropical Storm/Hurricane Elsa changed our mind about that portion of the trip.

So we cut that out and headed to our friends in Georgia.  The halfway point from our Slidell, Louisiana stay was Auburn Alabama.

I went online and found this park that looked very nice, and it is!  Auburn RV Park at Leisure Time Campground is a very nice park.  We reserved online – a plus on a holiday – and got to pick out our site.  We reserved a pull-through on the creek, and have a great view.

The park has cable, good wifi, and laundry.

Next stop – Georgia, and quickly!
