Nestled in the serene landscapes of Woodburn, Oregon, just a stone’s throw away from Portland, Portland-Woodburn RV Park offers a good stop for travelers seeking both relaxation, adventure, or a good overnight stop.  We made this stop on our recent visit, after leaving Southern Oregon RV Park. I had the pleasure of experiencing firsthand what makes this RV park a favorite amongst campers and why it stands out as a perfect base to explore the wonders of Oregon. Upon arriving at Portland-Woodburn RV Park, the first thing I noticed was its well-maintained grounds and welcoming atmosphere. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to the very friendly and helpful staff who were eager to share tips on making the most of our stay. The park is strategically located, offering easy access to local attractions while providing a peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle.

Accommodations and Amenities

Portland-Woodburn RV Park caters to a wide range of camping preferences with full hookup sites that accommodate everything from regular pull behind trailers to big rigs. Each site is equipped with electricity, water, and sewage, ensuring a comfortable stay regardless of your type of accommodation. The site layout is spacious and there is a dog park at the front of the park.

One of the highlights of the park is its range of amenities. The free Wi-Fi was is available, although it can slow in the evening when it is being used by many visitors. For those who appreciate staying active, the park offers access to a swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing or travel.

Additionally, the famous Woodburn Premium Outlets is just around the corner, offering a variety of shops and eateries.  It is an easy walk, which mom and I took after dinner.  And dinner was easy – just wander to the next parking lot and you have a variety of choices – we choose Red Robin.

Portland-Woodburn RV Park is more than just a place to stay; it’s a destination that offers a rich experience thanks to its facilities, friendly staff, and location. Whether you’re passing through for a night or looking for a longer getaway, this RV park is equipped to make your trip enjoyable and comfortable.  We happened to visit on a Saturday evening, and couldn’t figure out the loud racing sounds for a bit – turns out the drag strip is down the road! So if this would bug you, then make sure you check the schedule!
